The 2017 Pharmaceutical Extrusion Seminar in New Jersey, USA
Today, we would like to announce our participation in the 12th Pharmaceutical Extrusion Seminar, which will be held at two locations in New Jersey, United States.
The two-day event takes place between June 7–8, 2017, and will cover a range of topics related to the granulation and melt extrusion processes, while also focusing on the ever-evolving field of multi-functional medical equipment and devices.
The seminar will examine the concept of extrusion in more detail, explaining why it has become the pharmaceutical industry’s manufacturing methodology of choice when creating repeatable and reliable dosage forms and medical devices.
Hosted by the Leistritz Group, which develops and manufactures engineered parts for use in the airspace, marine, and pharmaceutical industries, the seminar will cover a range of topics related to extrusion. These include, but are not limited to, the use of computer modeling techniques for the creation of die designs, extrusion equipment maintenance, as well as news of the latest extrusion technologies, including co-extrusion and supercritical foaming. These classroom sessions will take place at the Holiday Inn Select, which is located in Clinton, New Jersey.
Furthermore, the seminar will highlight some of the leading extrusion technology in today’s industry. Participants will have the opportunity to get “hands-on” with the latest extrusion techniques at the Leistritz Process Laboratory, which is based in Somerville, New Jersey.
